HRP Creative Services created the award winning Rock n' Roll Theme Park® in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; the park formerly known as Hard Rock Park*.
The Rock n' Roll Theme Park® concept was originally conceived, by theme park industry veteran, Jon Binkowski, in the summer of 2002. Jon teamed up with Steven Goodwin, who had previously developed the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando, and over the next several years the park began to take shape. Under Jon's creative direction it became a highly integrated and stylized attraction. Attention to detail and the innovative and unique approach of weaving rock and contemporary music throught all areas of the park became a hallmark of the project. The park showcased rock music and its many influences: genres such as country, soul, reggae, funk and even pop music found their place in the parks make up. Finally the park opened in the spring of 2008 to a wave of awesome reviews from the travel media, industry bloggers and the mainstream media across the world. The park even featured as a backdrop for a weekend special edition of ABC's Good Morning America in teh run up to its Grand Opening event in June 2008.
Now the key creative content of the park is being developed as stand alone restaurants, play areas and attractions. Designed as a great place to meet friends and family, soon rockers of all e=ages will be able to hang out at their neighborhood Amp'd Coffee shop or enjoy a tasty burger at the Great Meals Diner!
